Summary of role

We're seeking a creative and skilled Front-End Developer to be our go-to freelance contractor! In this role, you'll bring designs to life by building user-friendly, responsive websites and applications. You'll work closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and a smooth user experience.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Independently adapt design compositions (Figma, Sketch, or InVision) to fast, responsive static sites.

  • Provide strong troubleshooting and debugging during all phases of the project life-cycle.

  • Communicate and work closely with back end developers and other technical staff.

  • Contribute to the Frontend architecture for enterprise-level web sites.

Qualifications

  • Can demonstrate fluency in HTML5 and CSS through the use of Sass and grid frameworks like Bootstrap.

  • Extensive experience with Javascript and one or more libraries such as JQuery, Angular, or React.

  • Experience consuming RESTful services and working in a Service-Oriented Architecture.

  • Proficiency in GIT source code repos.

  • Understanding of CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Umbraco, or Wordpress.

  • Expertise with Storybook UI components.

  • Strong experience in responsive web design with a focus on performance.

  • Adhere to modular and accessibility best practices.
